The Mirrabooka NAIDOC Event is a vibrant and inclusive celebration honouring the rich heritage of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. This annual, community-led event has been a cornerstone of cultural pride and unity for over 15 years, drawing together more than 4,000 attendees. 

The 2025 event promises to be our most engaging yet, building on the successes of previous years with expanded programs and new features. Mirrabooka NAIDOC Event is free, accessible, and inclusive. We promote inclusion and participation and are proudly drug and alcohol-free.
Getting there and Accessaibilty
Getting there    
  • There is limited on-site parking available at the venue, including 10 Acrod bays for accessible parking 
  • Drop off zone – a dedicated drop off zone for community is located at the front of the venue opposite 35 Ashbury Crescent 
  • Public Transport Access - the Mirrabooka Bus Station is a short 500m walk from the venue 
  • Additional parking is available at 2 Sudbury Road, adjacent to the Mirrabooka Library  
 Accessibility 
  • AUSLAN Interpreted event   
  • Quiet Zone – located inside the Centre 
  • Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program - look out for staff wearing the Sunflower supporter logo  
  • Toilets - accessible toilets are provided throughout the venue   
  • Parking – additional Acrod parking is available adjacent to the outdoor basketball courts
